Lougen has served extensively as guitar tech for folk legend Joan Baez up until her retirement in 2019, and also worked for the Indigo Girls. Grace has shared the stage with many other national acts including Selwyn Birchwood, Devon Allman, and the late Leon Russel.

In the studio, Lougen has contributed her songwriting and guitar playing to over a dozen full-length records. (Full listing under “Music” tab.)

In 2018, Grace joined forces with Megan Brown (vocals), Josh English (drums), and Dylan Hund (bass) to form a rock supergroup: the band Grosh.
